Jaime-Li Brown, M.A., CCC-SLP
Founder & Clinical Director
Jaime-Li Brown, M.A., CCC-SLP, is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with over eight years of experience serving individuals in schools, hospitals, and private practice. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University. As the founder of Betterment Speech & Language Therapy, Jaime-Li leads a team of skilled clinicians dedicated to delivering high-quality, outcomes-based therapy. She is known for her compassionate leadership, collaborative approach, and unwavering commitment to helping children communicate with confidence—whether at school, at home, or in everyday life.

Refer or Request Pediatric Speech Therapy
Betterment Speech & Language Therapy, PLLC is a clinician-owned pediatric speech therapy practice delivering individualized, evidence-based care with an emphasis on functional communication and collaborative service delivery. In-person services are available in the DFW area, with virtual services offered statewide across Texas.
when to refer
A referral is appropriate for children who present with concerns related to:•Reduced speech clarity or intelligibility•Delayed or disorganized language expression or comprehension•Social communication or pragmatic language concerns•Communication needs associated with autism or ADHD•Early academic or school readiness communication concerns
What to Expect After a Referral
After a referral is submitted:•The family is contacted within 1 business day•Next steps are discussed (screening, evaluation, or therapy as appropriate)•Clear recommendations are provided to the family•Ongoing communication is maintained with caregivers and referring professionals as appropriate
